WHMCS Automation Module Installation & Setup Guide

Step-by-Step Installation & Configuration of VMMakers in WHMCS (v7 & v8)

The VMMakers automation module enables instant virtual machine provisioning, power controls (start, stop, reboot), OS reinstallation, and direct HTML5 web console access directly from your WHMCS client area.

1. Prerequisites:

  • Compatible PHP Version: PHP 7.4, 8.1, or 8.2 with IonCube Loader enabled.
  • Active VMMakers Core License: An active server license verified on your server IP.
  • cURL & OpenSSL: Enabled on your hosting server for direct HTTPS communication.

2. Module Installation:

  1. Download the latest version of the module archive from the VMMakers Client Area.
  2. Upload the files to your WHMCS root directory: 
    /modules/servers/vmmakers/
  3. Set file permissions to 0644 for PHP files and 0755 for directories.

3. Adding the Server in WHMCS:

  1. Navigate to Setup → Products/Services → Servers in WHMCS Admin.
  2. Click Add New Server.
  3. Enter your server Hostname or public IP, choose VMMakers as the module type.
  4. Enter your API credentials and save changes.

4. Creating a Product Group & Product:

  1. Go to Setup → Products/Services → Products/Services.
  2. Create a product under the Server/VPS product type.
  3. Under the Module Settings tab, select VMMakers.
  4. Configure the ESXi host, default Datastore, Memory (RAM), CPU Cores, and initial OS Template.
  5. Select "Automatically setup the product as soon as the first payment is received" for 100% instant zero-touch delivery.
